Moved to Conroe Texas in March- 2003
We needed to move closer to Jim's parents in order to help them cope with their illnesses. Jim's parents have passed on and now, it is our turn to be at the head of the family-tree. We all take our turn.
I now work for the Backstage Dance Studio, in Conroe, Texas - teaching, Ballet, Tap, and Jazz.
have worked there for going on 5 years now.
I enjoy working in the yard, planting our garden, just being out side doing projects. I believe I have inherited my gardening talent from my father. For this I am truly thankful.
My husband, Jim is retired from the Air Force and is Vice-President of Virtual Cardinal Air Lines and flying flight simulaters.... along with being a "HAM" radio operater and a computor genius...me, no-way. lol - not a computer whiz...my talents lie more in the field of gardening...Expand for more

Jim and myself have a total of 5 children and 11 grandchildren, and 1-Great step-Grand...all
divided-up, living here in Texas and in Virginia.
We keep the road warm traveling back and forth to Virginia and Texas, to see our children & grands, and a few of them come spend the summer with us, their Nana and Papa.
Visited Ft. Myers in July-2007 for a family reuion and was very shocked at it's appearance. Everything is changing and everything that meant something to me, was gone. Very sad, sad indeed. The Old Rec-Center & Pool, Convention Center, places we once lived, turned undesirable, the beach, what beach ?.....It's gone, just store after store, and commercial property everywhere. I will return to Ft Myers for my relatives who live out-side of Fort Myers, or a class reunion, if we have one for 1962.
My memories of how it was, will be forever imprinted in my heart and mind for I had a wonderful life in -The Ft. Myers of Yester-Year.
