Barbara's Story
My Life:
I am currently practicing law with Milavetz, Gallop and Milavetz in Brooklyn Center. (37 years) I am also a part time Conciliation Court Referee in Hennepin County, and also have a substitute teaching license for Carver County. I live in Chanhassen. My eldest son Eddie finished two tours of duty in Iraq as a Marine. He graduated with honors with a degree in Middle Eastern studies from the University of Minnesota. He is now working as a safety director for a large construction company in Minnesota. My youngest son, Sean graduated from Hamline and works in sales in Dallas, a great place to visit.. He married his college sweetheart who is a physician's assistant in Dallas. They have three children. I see them fairly often. I enjoy traveling, swimming and being active in my community, especially the Rotary. My wonderful father is passed nearly two year...Expand for more
s ago at 101.. In the past he was invited to watch the super-bowl game with family friend the amazing Bob Stein whose father was a childhood friend of my dad. I am currently in a relationship with Ben Jeffrey who was a former US Marine Captain and is retired working as a bus monitor. We have traveled the past few years to Alaska, Hawaii, Maine, France, Austria and other places. We especially enjoyed Normandy Beach.
We frequently get together with my best friend Janine Hanson and her husband Craig Mertz. I attended Hamline College of Law and graduated in 1978. Mike Perlman and Steve Alpert were in my class. At our last reunion I was so happy to see Dave Holmes, and other people who worked for my dad during high school.. Our law office is now in Brooklyn Center, and would love to see old friends if they are in the area. Bobbi Goodman also spent a week with me last fall
