Barbara's Story
Life is great. I have been married to the same wonderful man for 46 years. We have one son who teaches English in Japan. He is married to a wonderful Japanese woman and they have a 9 month old daughter.
I always wanted to be a teacher when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a great idea. As it turns out, they were correct. I taught Junior high math ...Expand for more
for 5 years and then subbed until our son was in 9th grade. I then taught high school math for 21 years. When I retired 8 years ago I began working with student teachers at CSU Fullerton. It is very rewarding to help new teachers begin their careers. This gives me time for me and time to do the things I want within the math community organizations and at my church.
