Barbara's Story
Married 11/05/66, not long after graduating. Husband in USAF. Left Michigan immediately after wedding for Shaw Air Force Base, South Carolina. Lived there for 13 mos. before being assigned to Yokota Air Force Base, Tachikawa, Japan for 3 years. Our first daughter born in South Carolina and our only son born in Japan. have six grandchildren, ages 6 to 36 years old and two great-grands, ages 18 mos. and 6 years old.
No longer a Mrs., now a Ms. I do, however, admire those couples who have happily celebrated many years together. Since being single, I have lived in Las Vegas for a very short time and also in Florida, the Orlando/Winter Park Area, for just short of six years. Have been living back in Michigan since 2001.
