Life
What a nice feeling to see the names of old friends ( when we were young at heart ) :) married ; have 2 boys and 1 girl - all married and 8 grandchildren ( should have had them first ) :) I went to work for Fire Department as a Fire and Rescue Dispatcher when the kids were older. Became an Emergency Medical Dispatcher and an Emergency Medical Technician. Have a vacation home in Vermont by Okemo Mt. in Ludlow, and love to ski and just relax by river, and fish or go leaf peeping in the fall. AND I can't believe we are all on the young side of 60: oh my :) :) :) where did the time go ?
School
For St. Gregory's.. My biggest crush???... Donnie...........lol...everyone knows that.....Inspiration???I think Sister Mary Carmelina inspired me most..but I just loved Father Halloran...and Father Brown..they too; inspired me a lot...YES!! I would go back in a heartbeat and do it all over again..it was the best time of my life...the funniest?? (gosh there really were so many) but the one that makes me laugh a lot is the day the chorus sang and danced on that old moveable stage in the lunch room...for St. Patricks Day...doing the Irish Jig and the whole stage moved to the left and then to the right...lol lol....and the nuns were in shock!!...lol lol...They didn't know whether to stop us from dancing or run away from the moving stage..

...gosh....all of em...and the craziest??....the day I had a birthday party..and Marty Cashin decided to spin a bottle....and everyone ran and scattered....lol lol....no one got kissed...but boy did I get into tro...Expand for more
uble the next day at school....from the nuns!!!....they pulled my whole party list out of class....and If I ever find out who told....LOOKOUT!!...lol...and I fondly remember snowball fights in back of the school...walking the RR tracks to friends houses...and always stopping at the rectory for lollipops and chats with Fr. H and Father B...baseball games with Sister Mary Elsa...shooting marbles with Sister Mary Reginatta....stopping and standing still at the first bell....lol lol...and crowning blessed mother in May...singing "over the river and through the woods" a duet with Lorraine for our thanksgiving play..running home after school and watching american dance band with the gang......and so very very much more....and oh yeah!!...our very first day of school...in the garage of the convent....as the school was not yet finished....it was a wonderful life!.......
College
only attended college for about a year and a half....was working too many hours and doing school too...it caught up to me....so the job won.....but I really do not regret it. I have done well...and learned much...from hard knocks and reading.............lol
Workplace
Started working for the fire district as an Emergency FIRE & RESCUE dispatcher in 1978 and have loved it ever since. There isn't any other feeling in the world that you get when you know you have come to the aid of people in distress. Fulfillment to it's heights. Then you get to go home happy you've had a good day's work. The really best part for me (being a woman) is that I GET TO TELL 135 MEN WHERE TO GO AND THEY ALL LISTEN !! LOL LOL :)
