Barbara's Story
Barbara is from Seymour, Missouri and loves it here. Barbara's schools include Irvington High School, Western Career College Medical Assistant, and Everest University Online. Has a B.S. in Business Management, graduating with honors suma cum laude.
My first marriage ended in divorce it was not a good experience. I learned a lot from this marriage and have helped many who have gone through the same thing. I did however gain two beautiful daughters from this marriage and I would not trade that for anything in the world. They are my delight and I love them to pieces.
Married my best friend Larry Coan, on February 15, 1985, and together we have five daughters, 15 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, and two very spoiled dogs.
We moved to Mariposa, California and lived there for almost 20 years. In 2010 we moved to Missouri and absolutely love it here. Love the town and the people in it. We have met many from California which is really funny. Why God would choose Seymour, Mo for us all to live in who knows. Two families from my church lived in the same town at the same time and one of them actually lived on the same street as we did. Now that is funny.

Movies Barbara likes include Beverly Lewis' The Shunning Movie, Chick flicks, A Walk in the Clouds. TV shows Barbara likes include The Blaze TV, Revolution, Blacklist and Grimm.

Currently writing my memoirs want to leave something behind for my children and grandchildren to read. I have been through a lot and hope my mistakes will help them not to repeat them. It has been quit comical at times while writing this book and sad at other times. I love my family with my whole heart they mean everything to me. My friends from the past I think of often and wish only the best for them. I am involved with my church and have an awesome church family. I put God first because then everything else falls into place. I don't judge others because it is not my place. I have a good mixture of friends from all walks of life and believe God puts them in my life for a reason.
