Barbara's Story
Life
I attended Glenridge Junior High (now Middle School) then went on to WPHS. Although I actually left near the end of my junior year when I moved to Southern California with my parents and two sisters I feel that WPHS is my true alma mater. I married in 1966 and lived in the LA area until 1968 when my husband and I moved to just outside of Annapolis, MD where we were both employed by contractors to NASA. M. We later divorced and I stayed in Poughkeepsie until 1976 when I moved to Miami with my future husband. We married in 1980 and divorced in 1984 and I traveled (Austrailia and Hawaii in 1987). I moved back to Poughkeepsie in 1988 and stayed until 1995 when I returned to Miami where I now live. I'm looking to connect with other WPHS grads and hope to see them at the next reunion (I've already contacted Bill Benner and hope to hear about some upcoming get-to-gethers)
