Barbara's Story
Life
Was torn from friends at Wilmot High school between my Junior and Senior year, but am happy about it now as my then to be future husband was in my new school's Senior class.
Went to state teachers college for 2 years, but changed my mind and quit. Worked as a Service Rep. at the telephone company until our children were born. Married in 1966 and am blessed with 3 boys, born 1969, 1971, and 1977. They are now 6', 6'3" and 6'5" tall, so we are rejoicing they were not girls. Worked part-time as secretary/receptionist at vets., real estate office, accountant's office, Embry Riddle Aero. University, and finally insurance business formed by spouse and sons. with 9 (4 boys and 5 girls) living grandchildren (oldest born in 1999 and youngest born in 2008). Teaching the 2/3 year old Sunday School class has brought even more little blessings into my life.
Brother, Don, invited me to go with him to his 40th high school reunion, and we had a very nice time. Stayed at a nice motel in Antioch, Ill., visited our old home at Rock Lake, had dinner at what use to be the Catholic Grade School in Wilmot, and visited the home of one of his friends. Got to talk to lots of Don's friends from class of 1962.
Was able to bring spouse to our 50th reunion and so enjoyed seeing everyone again. Most of you haven't aged at all!
