Barbara's Story
Life
I live in the country with my best friend, who is also my lifemate. We share the joys and responsibilities of taking care of this beautiful place. He keeps the machines running and I keep flowers and vegetables growing.
Workplace
I am currently working part time at 3 jobs. My primary job is as a senior library assistant in an historic library in Massachusetts. I work...Expand for more
with the art and music collection and do cataloging. In my second job I play the organ and direct a choir in a small rural church. Finally, I teach piano lessons.
I like all my jobs because they are all fun and interesting and give me variety in my life. The pay is not so good. That's the tradeoff. I meet a lot of interesting people and there is definitely a feeling of fulfillment.
