Barbara's Story
Workplace
Registered Nurse since 1974, worked in every area of nursing that is on the record. Critical Care, Cardiology Nurse Specialist, Substance Abuse and Chemically Dependency, Quality Improvement,Home Health, School Nurse (currently).
I moved to Baton Rouge, La. in 1994 and I love the country/City life here.
I have three daughters and one son; five grandchildren and two great-grand daughters.
In June 2008, I Published a Non-Fiction Novel, "Don't Blame Me If I Got The Name Wrong." Knowing that it is God inspired, however it is not a book on religion, politics, economic, medicine, nor nursing. A fun book of short stories about growing up during the fifties. Although the cival rights era was a serious time in our history, as children we did have fun things and funny times. The book will be enlightening to the younger generation and full of memories for the older generation.

I am working on books number two and number three at the same time.
I credit Ms. Lillian Reed, Mrs. Verna Milburn, Mrs. Lila Rochon, and Ms Vernell Lilly for teaching us about how to make notebooks, interpert literature, acting, and 'everything english.'
I enjoy fishing, planting vegetable gardens. I plant only what I can eat.

I am desperately looking for the first School Yearbook (1958 - 1959) and I am willing to pay "whatever" for one.
