Barbara's Story
After attending Montgomery Elem, Bartlett Middle, and Jenkins for 10th grade, I relocated to Newport News, Virginia and graduated in 1968 from Ferguson High School. I attended Carson-Newman University (Jefferson City, TN) and married Robin L. Reeves from Smyrna, Georgia in 1971. We moved to Ft. Worth, TX and he received a Masters in Church Music from Southwestern Seminary. Meanwhile, I pursued several different career paths (Social Services Worker before it became a strangle of paper...Expand for more
work) and finally settled into governmental auditing. I worked as a state auditor in TX and then we returned to my "home" in Virginia as parents' and grandparents' needs became more pressing. (Many can probably identify!) We have 2 children (both Texans at heart) and now a daughter-in-law and a son-in-law and 5 grandchildren - all East Coast kids! So we are very blessed and cannot realize that we are approaching 70!
So I look forward to connecting with anyone who might remember me.
