Barbara's Story
Life
I married Hal Boyd (class of 70, Lewisville High School) in August, 1974, still married to him. We have two children, James born 1986 and Jessie born 1989. We moved to Montague county in 1997, a move we've never regretted. We have 120 acres in a very remote area, our own little lake, lots of wildlife to watch, and plenty of room to explore. We have dogs, cats, and cows and enjoy picnicking and fishing in our little lake.

r nearly 27 years of service with the city. I'm still doing taxes on a part-time from-home basis. We both are involved in a fencing business installing pasture fence and pipe fence.
Hal's dad, Chester (ag teacher LHS 1942-1975) is living with Hal's sister Jan Bailey (nee Boyd, LHS class of 1975) in Ponder, TX. He broke his hip in February 2000, and is now recovering from hip replacement surgery. He loves to hear from former students so contact me for his telephone number and/or address.
