Barbara's Story

Life I am currently living in Citrus Heights (Sacramento area), California. I have lived in Northern California for the past 36 years. I am married with two children, six grandchildren and two cats. We have lived in the same house for our entire stay in Sacramento and don't plan on moving. Just sorting through the collection of "stuff" is enough to cause a health problem. y. I have been the Supervisor for this unit for the past five year and I love the work and am extremely grateful for the social workers that work in my unit. Prior to transferring to CPS I worked as a real estate financial fraud investigator for four years for the Adult Protective Services Bureau in Sacramento. I continue to enjoy my work and hope to continue working for a at least a few more years. In my spare time my husband, George, and I enjoy our grand children. Two of the boys play competitive soccer and that keeps us busy traveling all over Northern California.
