Barbara's Story
Left Salina in 1957 (after working and one year of college) to marry a Navy pilot. We lived in Hawaii for two years and then moved to San Diego. We had 2 sweet daughters and later divorced and moved to the State of Washington to live with my folks. I met a wonderful guy (we were both in a JC sponsored play where he played a gangster and I was the leading lady) at play practice and off we went into 54 years of marriage and 2 more children, a boy and another girl. ermore Lab) and then over to Oregon where we've been for the last 35 years. We built our dream house on Mt. Williams where we have forest all around us and have lived in our house for 28 years. Have had a great life traveling through the US and to Europe twice but have reached the "golden years" lol now and stay pretty much at home other than visits to the kids and grandkids. I enjoyed my high school years (moved to Salina in the 8th grade) had many good times and memories. Hello to all that reads this and hope you're in good health, as we are!!
