Barbara's Story
Life
Grad of Lincoln Jr. High in Berwyn, only went to Morton West through Jr. Year, moved to California but returned in Feb, 67. Received GED in 1989. (Took 22 years to wise up)
Married a "65" grad of Morton East in 1970 and still married. One daughter born on Feb 13, 1973, she had bought her own home 30 minutes from us in 2002, but it is on the market now that she is engaged, She has moved back to Aurora, living with Mike (Her soon to be husband) hoping to sell her home before the wedding!
My husband Bob and I are enjoying our "50's and 60's", we have a trailer parked at a campgrounds for the past 28 years where we spend weekends and Bob goes out on our boat,fishing.
We are active with the VFW and it's Ladies Auxiliary, also with the Loyal Order of the Moose and Women of the Moose. Our daughter Tracy is the first 3rd generation Sr. Regent (President) of our Chapter. (Very Proud of her, can you tell?)

Was looking for a new job (learned not to work for a friend)found something better. I have my own embroidery business. I work out of my home doing embroidering with a computerized machine. I also own a Candy Vending Machine business. Name of company "R & B Enterprises".
At the age of 56 I became disabled due to back problems and am now on disablity. My husband Bob is still at Aramark, he just turned 60 and hopes to retire in the next few years. I keep myself busy with my business and Honey Due lists. In the summer I spend more time at the camp grounds in our new trailer (tree fell on the old one during the winter). I don't go fishing with Bob anymore due to my back.
I am the luckiest person in the world, I found my Soulmate at the age of 21 and we are still together and plan on keeping that way.
School
Did not graduate with my class, got smart when I turned 40 and got my GED and have been taking College classes ever since.
