end so much time doing it. Most cases are very satisfying and the ones that aren't are at least very interesting and sometimes entertaining! I had my own office until my daughter was born then worked for a firm for 5 years. Now I'm on my own again and have more flexibilty working for myself again. The hours can be a killer, but being my own boss again makes it all worthwhile. My mediation practice is fantastic and it's great to have a hand in settling a case and helping folks think outside the box to get something that will work for them. I would much rather help a case settle than start one, but for now I'm doing both.
