Life
My life changed in 1998, I got married and had a instant family. WOW what a change for me, going from independent working woman to wife and step-mother. Nine months later I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. I knew that there was something wrong with me for a few years but damn you would think nine months after you get married you would be having a baby not being told you have a incurable disease. I have told myself many times that every thing happens for a reason but what in the world is the reason for this. was in a wheel chair for 2 years but now thats all behind me thanks to modern medicine and a fighting spirit. I still limp when I get tired but thats a ton better from where I was. I guess the main thing I would like to share with everyone is when you see someone parking in a handicap spot and they get out and they look fine to you, they might not be. I can't tell you how many times people give me the evil eye or make a rude comment because I am using a handicap spot. Don't be too quick to judge because you might not be able to see the disability. My main job these days is staying healthy, laughing, having fun and taking care of my family and my dogs.
