Rebecca's Story
Life
I have two sons, Daniel is 24 and Josh is 21. I am marrying Chris at the end of September 2009. It will make me a lucky wife and a step mother to two awesome kids-Whitney and Jacob.
I work out to try and preserve what shred of my youth remains. I am high on endurance and low on actual strength. Se la vie.
School
I was really into Charlie King. Only problem was so was Charlie.
Mr Murphy really inspired me to think about my writing and the tone that action verbs make over passive verbs in engaging the reader.
My favorite school memory was being chosen for the flag team. I really wanted it and someone told me I wouldn't cut it. I did. She did not.
College
I went to college when I was a divorced single parent, so I did not have the luxury of those types of memories. I am an honor graduate of San Jose State University class of 1993 with a BS in Health Sciences.
I don't use my degree at all in my job, but it's okay. I know how to take care of my family and friends and I know how to read through hype to figure out if there is any truth in emerging 'healthy items'.
Workplace

early 90s. I broke into office work in the mid 90s and got a real tip from a friend and broke into the banking world in 1999. I have been there ever since and I love it.
Military
I am a daughter of a retired military person and an ex-wife of another military person. I have been out of the military life since 1986. Now I support the troops with prayer at all times.
Always in motion
I have lived in three different countries in my life and been to an additional three. I have lived in Colorado, Indiana, Kansas, North Carolina and California (where I have lived for the majority of my-gulp-almost 44 years).
Reunion surprise
If I were to attend a reunion, most people would never have figured me to have gone blonde.
Life aspirations
I always wanted to be a professional singer when I grew up. My family and friends did not really get what I was aiming for. I chose to have a family instead. As much as I love to sing, I am not sure I would have made a good professional singer for all of the sacrifices. I am having great fun singing karaoke. One friend heard me recently for the first time and said "Wow! That is a lot of voice!"
