Samuel's Story
Intelligent, logical, good friend, honest and fun.
I always wanted to be a pilot when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a great idea. As it turns out, they were right. However, I never got into the pilot's seat but did put in a lot of air miles in the military and in civilian life.
I blow off steam by working out or going for a hike in the woods.
The wildest thing I did in school was to initiate a coup in Zeus's class. We were scheduled to play ball and he decided to teach instead so several of us grabbed the gloves, bats, balls and headed to the diamond. He asked us to come back in a couple of times but no-one wanted to be inside on that beautiful day so we stayed out and played ball. As I remember it cost all of us a swat, and especially me since I was considered the Ring Leader. LOL..
If I'm going to work I need order in my environment. I detest messiness and clutter. I also like to have a hot cup of coffee nearby when I am thinking. Coffee soothes the savage beast.
I have lived in 7 states and 3 foreign countries.
Life is surely a curve ball at best but for some the ball is not only a curve but also a slider. I have taken the ups and downs of my life as they come and simply walked through them face on and I have yet to fail.
If I could improve my home, I'd remodel master bedroom and add on a an extra bedroom. My dream home would be 4500 sq ft on 50 acres with all the amenities. EX: a firing range in the bas...Expand for more
ement, inside pool, workout area, and a library..
There are a lot of teachers that I would really like to see again but most have passed away. I only had one teacher that I did not like. And I have tried to put that to ground. It was difficult but I am working on it.
If I won $100 million, I'd give 50% of it to IRS, then spend the rest on kids, needy and friends.
My current age is old. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be knocking on heavens door. I was so completely wrong....fortunately.
My first crush became the Homecoming Queen and married a guy not half as good looking as me.
My best friend would tell you I'm personable, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as snobbish..
In 10 years, I hope to be alive. I'm going to get there by staying healthy and fit..
Today, I took a short drive out into the country close to another town. As I was driving along i saw a trailer that reminded me of the long ago street cars that ran in the cities. It occurred to that children of this day and age have no concept of street cars unless they have visited San Francisco. They were a means of transportation and also a novelty to the country boy or girl seeing them for the first time. I also remember that in Broadhead a gentleman by the name of Painter bought one of the discontinued cars and had it transported from Cincinnati to Broadhead, Kentucky and set up a restaurant in the middle of town.
