Ned's Story

Greetings from the Arkansas Valley, Buena Vista, Colorado. After years of real estate and insurance adventures in Boone, NC, and after many adventures during more years of over-the-road trucking, I am now a full-time landscape and wildlife painter (oils). Here in the 'High Country' is an unending supply of natural beauty set against the spectacular backdrop of the Colorado Rockies. Dad (the painter and hiker) and Yours Truly on the Appalachian Trail in 1972.  He was in his mid-eighties and going strong.  We did 100 miles together that week.
Quandary Peak, Google Earth, from the south.  One of Colorado's 54 14,000 ft. peaks.  By the way there are over 600 peaks in Colorado that rise above 13,000 ft., including the 14ers, of course.
Just another day at the office, even though this is Independence Day!  Hey, I'm happy to be on the road!  Today, Commerce City, CO, to Greeley, for a load to L.A., Monday morning, or so.  :-)
