Barry's Story
Worked in public relations for most of my early career. An early stint in retail was at Polo Ralph Lauren, followed by group sales in fine dining. Most recent career re-invention was as a personal trainer.
Not known as being very athletic in high school, I took up riding horses (never did learn to jump worth a damn)! And sailing on beautiful Lake Michigan (helps to have friends with sailboats). Was a member of the Junior Governing Board and Governing Member of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and served on the board of Friends of Handicapped Riders, which provided therapy on horseback for developmentally disabled children and adults.
Living in beautiful Colorado with my two rescue dogs. Tried early retirement, but got too bored, so working at Lowe's. Finishing up renovation of my newest condominium, my sixth renovation, not that I do much of the work... Still enjoy weight training, cycling, and long walks with my dogs.
