Barry's Story

Hi. I lived in Beavercreek and graduated from BHS in 1964. Went to Morehead State University, than to US Army with a tour in Viet Nam. Got out of the military in 1970, got married and moved to Atlanta Ga and still live here. Still not sure I like it, but after 38 years, what the heck. ! I have two grown sons both in their mid thirties and a 5 year old grand daughter. Still miss Beav...Expand for more
ercreek and visit at leat once a year to see family. Barry Kiefaber 12-29-09 I just retired and have plans to move back home to Dayton, hopefully near or in Beavercreek. Anything is better than down here. I hear there will be a 60's reunion this summer and hope to attend. It will be the first one since graduation. Looking forward to meeting old friends and reconnection to the past.

Here's a picture that was in the newspaper about uncle Bob. This was when he was on the Bellbrook City Counsil. I'm guessing it is about 20 to 25 years old.
Here's a throwback to about 1956. It was taken on the front lawn of our house on Ackerman Blvd. Some of the family was over and Aunt Elaine, Aunt Helen and Billy, Grandma and Mom put some chairs on the front lawn. Probably

Here's a picture of my first Fire of the year. It's hard to believe that about a week ago, the temperatures were still in the 90s. Now it is normal for fall and everything is back to the way it should be !
