Anyway, life has been interesting, but too busy. It certainly hasn't been what I expected back in 1988 when I left Tomball. I should preface all this by saying that I put my trust in God to guide my steps and try to follow Him. I had a good experience at Baylor, but had too many distractions to do extremely well in school (I got a BA in psychology, and minored in religion). I met my wife Debbie (my main distraction!) there and we married in 1991. We lived in San Antonio for a couple of years while she got her graduate degree and I worked here and there and nowhere. We moved to a small town on the TX coast called Palacios when I went to work for a Christian camp and retreat center directed by my father in law. 3 years later, he left, and I was made director of the camp - Texas Baptist Encampment. In total, we were there for 9 years. It was a great experience, and a lot of hard work. We decided in 2003 that God was leading me to attend seminary, and we ended up in Cochrane, Alberta, Canada ...Expand for more
