Barry's Story
I was the kid standing under the bleachers, looking-up your dresses... I played in the band. I was an unremarkable student until I met Denise Fitzgerald who inspired me to do more school-work as we studied together. Her stated motivation was simple, "If you get better grades, you'll get your mom's car more often so we can get out and go places." Going places often meant driving up and down Bridge Street (rte. 3A) between McDonald's and Burger King to see who was around. A side trip to circle Great Hill was part of the search. as "the Shelf" above the Wessagussett Beach bathhouses. My dad once told me that I had put 200 miles on the car in one night. I think we checked-out the cars parked at the "Surf Ballroom" in Hull a few times that night, as well.
As far as where I've been?... I just returned from the bathroom. ;}
We are looking forward to seeing you all, or at least most of you...
Denise and I will have been married for 40 years at the time and our only daughter's wedding just weeks earlier. We will be ready for another party!
