David's Story

After graduation played baseball with Boston for a couple years till an arm injury ended my baseball career. Graduated from OCC. Joined the military. Was an air traffic controller initially then was selected for Navy Special Warfare for 8 years. Navy gave me an opportunity to fly so I became a Navy pilot. Flew all over the world and really enjoyed my time in the Navy. ...Expand for more
In June 1995 I retired after 24 years of service as a Commander, and started my second career as a commerical pilot. Married my beautiful wife Pamela and am now very happily settled an hour north of Dallas Texas as an airline captain with 8 grand children to keep me young. I still have very fond memories of our time at Mesa High and hope everyone is safe and doing well.
