Bill's Story

Bill's schools include Pershing High School. Bill later attended Lawrence Technological University (getting to the beer joint after class). I have been retired since 2006. My wife Gail (the former Gail Riley-Pershing class of 1962) have been married for 50 years (51 in August). We meet with some former classmates from class of 1961(Bob Hopper, Dave Hakes, Paul Jacobs, and sometimes Jim Podgorney and hopefully Clarence Samelko can meet with us this year) This year we are scheduling a weekend "gathering" in Cheyboygan Michigan in August. Joined the US Navy less than a month of graduating from PHS and served 3 years. I attended Lawrence Technological University in Southfield Michigan(Night school) and graduated in 1968. I was working during the day and attended classes at night. I loved the work at Detroit Edison but had to retire after a motorcycle accident severly injured my leg. I am mobile but not as much as I would like to be. Gail and I have a Motor Home and we belong to a Motor home Club (Water Wonderland Winnies) and we travel a lot during the year. Life is good.
