Robert's Story

Graduated from Long Beach State. Navy officer served in the Vietnam conflict. Special Agent for NCIS (Naval Criminal Investigative Service) and later DCIS (Defense Criminal Investigative Service). Co-owner of Bauman & Rasor Group, Inc. specializing in Federal contract and program fraud investigations. Co-authored one book published in 2007, "Betraying our Troops: The Destructive Res...Expand for more
ults of Privatizing War." Second book, "Shattered Minds: How the Pentagon Fails Our Troops with Faulty Helmets," published in 2019. Consultant to Presidential Commission on Wartime Contracting. Testified before a Senate Subcommittee on wartime contracting issues. Activities include endurance running - marathons, half marathons, triathlons, mountain biking, swimming, and avid golfer.
