Life
As of 7/2/2000, I am the widowed mother of 4
children and g-mother of 4/ Tammy-36(Cory-15,Sierra-12),Timothy-35(Topanga-20months),
Shani-32, Damian-23(DeJa-3. I worked for Bank of De. for 14 yrs 11 months before they merged w/ PNC Bank. After being unemployed for 2 yrs,I joined the Dept. of Correction
as a Correctional Officer (which I really enjoyed)and remained there until I had to take disability retirement in 1997 because of
multiple mini-strokes(TIAs). I married first
right out of high sch. in Oct.'62, divorced in '68, then re-married in Sept.'77 to Athur
(Petey)Cooke, a Longshorman for 18 yrs. until his death in...Expand for more
July '95 of pancreatic cancer. Since my retirement, I have found the
internet, enjoy surfing the net, watching the horseracing/playing slots at De.Park & Dover Downs and watching my g-children grow. As of 10/26/2007 I have welcomed twin grandsons, 2 great grandsons and 1 great granddaughter. My oldest daughter is now in Law school in Lansing, Michgan, my oldest grandson just retuned after serving in the Army with 2 or 3 tours in Afganistan & or Iraq. My youngest son (the twins dad ) has over 5 years in with UPS as a driver and my youngest daughter has more than 2 months in with UPS, so things are looking brighter for my family.
