Life
I attended the University of Michigan in 1976, and later completed my law degree from U of M as well. I met John Coleman while working at Sears during my college days, and we married in 1987. We have 4 beautiful kids, and are living happily ever after. We attend Oakwood Baptist Church, where John is an associate Pastor. Our 3rd child, Angel, was born with a chromosome abnormality (4p-), and has taught us some hard lessons about life.I can hardly believe she's almost 17 now! She and the other 3 are our pride and joy! So, December 2007 update! I finally added a picture! Those of you who remember me at all will recall that I had curly hair...still do, but the flat iron has allowed me to expand my look. My oldest, Martin is in a community college and was invited to the honors convocation.This completes his freshman year in college. Martin is anextremely talented singer...from me of course! not that keen on the idea. Next is Mandi, 18 and a real gem. She's a Sr. in high school and is exceptionally talented...sings, dances, is smart and is an incredible artist. She will start her freshman year at Central Michigan University...only 2 hours away...was hoping she'd be interested in UT in Austin, but she wants to stay closer to home. David is 13 and in tth grade...loves video games and doesn't really appreciate school...how unusual for a teen! I did private real estate for the last 5 years, and this fall took on a real attorney job! I was focusing on the Bankruptcy field. Life has dealt a lot of ups and downs, and we're still ticking. Since I last updated, I have been defending homes in Foreclosure here in Michigan. I have finally found my passion! The rewards of saving homes is incredible. The secret to life... balance in all things, never stop learning and when you have to fall get up quickly, brush yourself off and go at it again. Isn't life a wonderful adventure?
