John's Story
Life
After graduating from Steinmetz I attended DeVry and received my B.S. in CIS in '89. Since then I have been working in the Telecommunications. At first in a Data Center and then as a field Engineer and now as a Sales Engineer.
In '92 I met my wife in then a well known bar in the neighorhood called "Chicago Endzone" on Irving just East of Halrem. In '93 we married and have 3 great kids, 2 boys (12 and 9) and 1 girl (4). We live in Huntley IL which is fa...Expand for more
r enough out of Chicago where the kids have a yard where they can play Soccer and Football.
Workplace
Working at Wendy's and then moving to a telemarketing position. Then to a Data Center Operator and then to a Field Engineer. Progressed to a Sales Engineer selling and designing Telecommunications Networks. Designed and Implemented some of the first true IP Triple Play Networks (Voice/Video/Data) in the country. Now Designing/Selling Gig and 10Gig Networks.
