Becky's Story
Just a little about what has been going on in my life since my 1964 graduation.
I married my high school sweetheart, Bill Epperson on July 11, 1964. Bill attended one of our rival high schools (Charter Oak). We have two daughters and one son, eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Our grandchildren range from age 31years down to 19 years.. Our great grandsons are 8 and 9 years and our great granddaughter is 3 years.
Bill and I moved to Beaverton, Oregon in 1972 and love it here in Oregon. We have a Motor Coach and go with our RV club and on our own a lot. We just returned from two weeks on the Siletz River in Lincoln City, Oregon. Last September we took a trip to Disneyland with our entire family and had a great time. There is nothing like having a wonderful family!
We own a business (Epperson Putting Greens and Grass). We sell and install artificial putting greens and artificial grass. We only install during the spring and summer months and off the rest of the year. It is...Expand for more
a great business to be in at this time. We have our grandson managing our business so that gives us a lot of free time to do the activities that we like.
UPDATE:
It is now August 2022 and life has changed for me. May 26, 2019 my husband had surgery and was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. I took care of him for a year and he passed away June 10, 2020. This man was my everything, I loved him deeply and I am missing him so much. Our three children were able to be in the hospital with my husband and I when he died peacefully. We were married 56 wonderful years. Life is very lonely without my soulmate, we loved traveling; golfing and doing everything together.
I would love to hear from my classmates. I do still keep in touch with some of the people that I grew up with.
It is now 2024 and my one and only has been in heaven watching over me for almost 4 years. I still miss this man so much.
I am looking forward to seeing some of my high school classmates at the reunion in July.
