Becky's Story
Life
I am a title one reading specialist at an elementary school in lexington district 1. We have 3 great children, 25, 23, and 21. Our oldest is a graduate of GA. Tech. He married his high school sweetheart and is an engineer in Jacksonville, Florida. Our other two are girls. Our middle child lives closer to home and teaches 3rd grade. She is the only one to follow in her parent footsteps. Our youngest is a junior majoring in accounting at Winthrop. She comes home every weekend, mainly to see her boyfriend, but we like to think it is for us. All three are exceptional children. We only have the Lord to thank for that. school here in Lexington. After graduation I attended Columbia Bible College in SC. I met my husband there and we were married after graduation. We then attended USC and received our masters in 1978. My husband continued on and received his PhD. I taught till our first child was born. My husband and I decided that I would stay home with our children--a decision I will never regret. At the urging of the princpal where I now work (Saxe Gotha Elementary) I went back to teaching in 1999. We have lived in Lexington, SC for the past 31 years and I love it. It is a wonderful place to live and raise children. I still visit Warner Robins as all my family are still there. I would love to hear from any of my wonderful old friends.
