Becky's Story
I did not graduate from Seminole High School. I actually moved to Ga when I was 10 but had I stayed in Sanford I would have graduated in 1971. My family lived in Sanford from 1955 until 1963 in the little neighborhood called Loch Arbor. We lived on Orange Drive, close to the Mayfair Country Club. I attended Lake Mary Elementary School. I have an older sister, Iris, and four younger brothers, Johnny, Jack, Jay and Jim (who was born after we moved away in 1963). When I was 10 we moved to McRae,Ga where Jimbo was born. My parents are still there.
I now live in Middle Ga, have four children and three grandchildren. I work with the state as a nursing home inspector. My husband and I have been married 29 years.He plays in a rock and roll band, The Skeeterz (check them out on My Space), we ride his Harley as much as possible and are active with the Hawkinsville FUMC.
My parents and siblings are still living and well. We have wonderful memories of our years in Sanford and McRae.
