Becky's Story

Life My biggest accomplishment thus far is surviving breast (1995) & ovarian (1998) cancer. Have been cancer free now 11 years. My daughter Jennifer is now fighting breast cancer again. She is a Kindergarten teacher at Cedar Springs Elementary at House Springs, MO. Her husband Chris is a computer Tech for CHN Company in Clayton, MO. The joys of my life is my now 7 year old Grandson C.J.who will begoing into 2nd Grade and loves all kinds of sport, especially baseball and soccer. His little sister Jordyn is now 3, the typical busy, busy 3 year old. and is the apple of her PaPa's (Randy)eye! We see them fairly often....Expand for more
My son Rodney is now divorced but still lives in Sesser where he manages our Funeral Home there. Randy and I will be celebrated our 38th anniversary in April. I had a heart attack January 24th and had to have a stent put in, but am doing fine now. Randy is now sole owner of the Gilbert Funeral Home in Christopher, and the Brayfield/Gilbert Funeral home in Sesser, as his brother retired three years ago I amno longer babysitting (had to quit after my heart attack). I still would love to hear from some of my "old" friends (or enemies). Just drop me an email, I'll try to get back to you right away!
