Becky's Story
Life
I was born in New Castle, PA in 1951, went to Union Elementary and Junior High School up to the 7th grade, then in the Fall of 1964 I moved to Greenville, PA and went to Reynolds High School where I graduated in 1969. I've lived on the outskirts of Atlanta, Ga for 20 years and officially retired January 1st, 2005, after 17 years, from a major airline employed as a flight attendant. I'm enjoying retirement with my husband (who is also retired) and we hope to see more of the USA and abroad.
I have a hobby "scrapbooking" of my life, my travels
all over the world when I was a flight attendant, doing
memoirs of my family and friends. I love living in Atlanta, but miss my dear friends from back home
in New Castle and Greenville, PA.
My husband and I recently went on a cruise last year to Rome, Italy and surrounding countries. We saw the
ruins in Athens, Greece, cruised to Messina, Italy, Dubrovnik, Croatia, Katakolon, Greece, Santorini, Greece (the ...Expand for more
most beautiful island), Kusadasi, Turkey and stayed an extra night in Rome. Words can't describe the beauty of
all these cities, especially the runis of Athens and Rome.....something I dreamed of doing all my life.
In April of this year, we cruised to the Hawaiian islands. I had been there before when I was a flight attendant, but since my husband had never been there, we went there for a week. The weather was picture perfect as it was in
Europe last year. Anyone who wants to see the most beautiful beaches needs to go to Hawaii. We will continue to
travel, cruise, or however we can travel until we can no longer do it. This is our life's wish to see as much as we can see.
My Mother just passed away in Greenville hospital on Christmas Eve 2011. Have been to Greenville every month, sometimes twice a month to spend time with my Mom. Going back to Greenville really brings back a lot of
memories. It's always nice to go home, but I don't miss the weather.
