Becky's Story
My Mother Lorraine Peterson & I left Badger in 1958. We moved to Tucson Az. I married & moved to Ca. in 1964 & have lived here ever since. I have 3 children 2 boys & 1 daughter. My daughter lives in Wa. state, 1 son lives in Sacramento & the other in Seaside Ca. I worked for the Rio Linda School Dist. for 26 years, starting out as a cafeteria helper & working my way up to manager. I retired in 2005. My Mom came out her to live in 2006. with me for 7 mos. & then went to assisted living, then her health failed & she was in a nursing home until she passed away in Aug. 2011. I took her remains back to Badger & buried her with her Mother & my cousin Joyce Lockhart was buried there the same day. They passed away 2 weeks apart. I have 7 grandchildren & 5 great grandchildren. WE have a small garden & I enjoy going to lunch with friends. Other then that I lead a very boring life. lol!!!
