Becky's Story
Life
My life as I know it now. Way different than I thought. I have three children and seven grandchildren. Being a "Nana" at the tender age of 49 was not in the master plan, but I wouldn't trade even one of my seven little buggers for all the tea in china. Don't like tea much anyway. Mostly happy about my life so far. I live about 20 miles away from where I grew up, a few towns away from Mom and Dad. I retired from restaurant work about 7 years ago and just do volunteer work now. My husband is the Highway Superintendent where we live, so he travels the roads ( literally ) alot. My kids all live within 25 miles of me. They are busy with their lives and raising their kids.

some traveling, as soon as Hubby retires in a few years. We went to Alberta, Canada a few years back and would go again, it is beautiful and clean up there. Everyone should see the Rocky Mountains at least once. It is amazing the first time you see them. You realize just how small you are in the grand scheme of things. Maybe try on a grass skirt one of these years in Hawaii as well.
Your life is what you make of it. Try to give back some of the joy that you get and it will make the journey of your life a little sweeter. I try to make a difference in someone's life, it is not always about me. I just want to enjoy the ride that I am on and finish strong. And meet my Savior face to face.
