Becky's Story
Life
I have surprised myself, by doing more than I thought I would. After High School there was college. Did a little traveling then I returned back to Cheboygan. In 1995 I met the "right" guy, sold my home and moved. Married in 1996. We honeymooned in the west for a few weeks, taking in several sites along the trip. 1999 had my 2nd child.
Still doesn't keep us home. We travel alot, snowmobile, and plan to do Disney, again,& again & again. As I age, I think of returning back to Cheboygan, but New Mexico,Colorado, Wyoming, Maine, have become interesting states to me. Just give me snow!!! and I'm happy.
School
After moving around most of my school yrs,(Military) my parents settled in Cheboygan, in time for me to start...Expand for more
6th grade. What a change! Country schools! We lived 12 miles from town & my friends. I loved school, wasn't much of a challenged, didn't study to hard. An average student. Only school activities I liked was being on the Year book staff, and there was always something about football.
College
College - LOL What a joke. Went out of state, 1st yr lived w/ 3 other girls in an assigned apt. Then eventually end up sharing my new apt w/3 other guys. (long story - but it was all platonic) Again passed my classes w/out even trying. Had too much extra time on my hands! so started having to much "fun". Became very sick, and after several weeks of home study, the school Dean, called my parents. Thus never returned to college.
