Rebecca's Story
Life
Moved to Columbus, Georgia in 2004. So glad to get out of the Orlando area after 26 years!
Married since 1983 to Curt Black, a family physician at Martin Army Hospital at Ft. Benning.
Two children from his first marriage:
Son, single; Daughter, married with 2 children, ages 6 & 3 (it's GREAT to be a grandma!)
We have a beautiful daughter, a high school junior. She is an accomplished equestrian, animal lover, and outdoor enthusiast (translation: huntin', muddin', and four wheelin'). Her favorite store: Bass Outlet; favorite labels: ...Expand for more
Mossy Oak, Dixie Outfitter. Not quite the dainty young woman I thought she might be but she's terrific!
I worked as a nurse 23 yrs then became a full-time mom (no job description, no salary, no retirement benefits). Watching my daughter develop and mature has been awesome. If life offered "do-overs" I would like to be just like her!
Over the past years I have taken classes at various colleges, trying to figure out what I want to be when I grow up. I am working on a degree in special ed and early childhood development at Columbus State University.
