Belinda's Story
Life
Recently married and recently retired from civil service at Tinker AFB. I have two kids and 3 grandkids. My husband and I own 2 horses and he is a calf roper and I run ribbons (if you don't know, but want to, just ask!). We also enjoy riding the motorcycle and I play golf. My daughter is Activities Director at Lawton High so we are still proud Wolverines! She may have taught English to your kids or maybe grandkids!
School
Heck, I barely remember going to school, much less who my teachers were 40 years ago! Did we or did we not have a senior prom in 67? I know I didn't go and always felt bad that I wasn't asked to the prom. Then a friend of mine told me our prom was cancelled because of something we did at the LHS v EHS football game. I felt a whole lot better about myself!
College

get married. Twenty years later (in Dec 1987) I walked across the platform with my degree from Cameron. In 2004 I earned my Master's.
Workplace
Anyone remember COE (Cooperative Office Education)? I went to school and worked at the Lawton PD as switchboard operator, occasionally dispatcher, and then Offense Clerk. I actually got a job there after graduating from high school. I eventually ended up working at Ft Sill and began my career with federal civil service. I retired with 31 years just this last January. Can't believe it!
Military
My ex-husband was Air Force and we were stationed at Lackland AFB in San Antonio TX and I decided that maybe I should join since he was doing so well. I spent 5 years in the active duty Air Force, getting stationed at Lackland, the Philippines and Santa Maria CA. I got out and went back to work with civil service.
