Emily's Story
Life has been very good to me! I am married, living in the Chicago burbs, and have a 2-year old daughter who is the apple of my eye. I also have two stepkids in COLLEGE: they make me feel old and keep me young at the same time!! One thing I have learned: ALWAYS trust a teenager when it comes to fashion. If they say you look dorky, you look dorky. Don't argue, you grew up in the '80s.
I spent about 10 years in sales/marketing despite my degree in chemistry, and am now a stay-at-home mom for the time being. I am chipping away at an MBA at DePaul with a specialization in marketing. ...Expand for more

My husband and I are getting ready to build our dream home in Libertyville. Lots of work but lots of fun! We have worked hard and saved so it is a big payoff for us.
I feel that I am still the person I was in high school, although 10 years in a stressful job toughened me up a little. I try every day to make life better for those around me, especially my family. I don't have as many close friends as I did in high school, but I truly enjoy the few I have now.
I always look back on my time at DGS with a smile; I really do miss those days!
