Serena's Story

Life I'm living in South Pasadena with my husband John Refoua, a film editor, and my 20 year old son. I retired from Los Angeles Unified in 2012 (put in over 30 years!). I worked at Belmont High from 1981 - 2012 as a teacher of history, psychology, humanities, film and dance, and my last 5 years as the school libr...Expand for more
arian. Did some traveling with an ethnic dance troupe back in the 80's: Soviet Union, Central Asia, Brazil. Still love to travel. Visited Scotland last year for the Edinburgh Festival. Love to go on snorkeling trips with my family. Life is good. Retirement is awesome. Playing lots of tennis and taking art classes.
