Bembi's Story
After graduatng from Boston University with a Journalism degree, which included a years hiatutis in Israel. I went back to Israel to spend a year learning about Judiasim. My husband and I came to the States to get married and made aliyah (emigrated) to Israel.
We first lived in Zicron Yaakov in the north near Haifa. Then a few years in Jerusalem. Now we have lived the last 16 years in the "west bank" Betar Illit in the hills of the Judia .
I have been working over most of the years in Catering and cooking and a few years I actually used my degree as the cooking columins...Expand for more

My real pride are in my children, thank G-d , I have 7 children, 2 of which are married with so far 1 grandcaughter. My oldest 2 daughters are both special ed teachers. My third daughter is learning business management. My 2 teenage sons are still in learning in Yeshivas. And then I have 2 little kids(a girl and a boy) still in elementary school. My granddaughter is 1 1/2 and obviously adorable and a brillant child.
If anyone comes to Israel and is in the Jerusalem area, should write and maybe come for a home hospitatilty Shabbes.
