Ben's Story

After graduating from willow glen. I attended west valley college for two years then sacramento state college for the next two. I got married my senior year, my wife got pregnant right away, so I dropped out with 12 units to go. I was majoring in math, but couldn't get a decent paying job utilizing my math background so, I went to work as a carpenter for boise cascade homes where I had worked during the summers to pay for college.I had a brief 3 year job with the San Jose fire department, but it was a little too boring for me so I went into business for myself as a general c...Expand for more
ontractor, which I have been doing since 1979. I was married for 29 years to a wonderful woman. We had four children who are now successful adults and beautiful human beings. My wife and I divorced in 1997. We are still good friends and get together with family on most important holidays.I'm still actively working and when i'm not, I love to hunt and fish, golf, jog, and I shoot archery professionally.I still live close to the Willow Glen area, but get to travel extensively with my archery. In 2016, I moved to Colorado to get away from the political madness in California.

I got a surprise visit today from good friends Patrick and Jill Siever from Washington state. Jill has a psychology symposium in Denver this weekend. They made the 100 mile drive down to pueblo to visit. Archery has blessed
