Life I graduated from Penn State in 1978 and received a M.S. in meteorology at Northern Illinois Univ. in 1980. I began working at NBC 4 in Columbus, OH, as an on-air meteorologist and have been here ever since. I wrote "The Pennsylvania Weather Book" (2002, Rutgers Univ. Press), and "Pocono Weather" (1992, Uriel), and a number of weather articles and book reviews for weather journals and newspapers, and occasional music and poetry. I teach occasionally at Ohio State and serve as an adjunct instructor at Columbus State, and visit local schools frequently. I was published in the "New York Times" Op-Ed section (Nov. 17, 2009) on the subject of our Founding Fathers take on climate change.
