Life
Exquisite wine (I'm known to be a wine snob), great food with music in the background surrounded by family and friends is what Life's all about! Especially when I get to do the cooking! I love the comfort of home where I can entertain guests and family since I know the pleasure they'll derive comes from the fruit of my labor. I enjoy watching everyone engaged in conversation, laughing with one another, sharing day to day events or catching up on the latest in everyone's life if it's been a while. I guess it has to do with my Latin roots! Latinos are big on family and pride! At this venture in life, I'm thankful I was able to raise (single mom) and provide for two great kids (Anthony & Celia) who in turn have blessed me with two beautiful grand-daughters that have become the focus of my attention and hope to be able to help them learn how to cope with the struggles of single parenting. ome day learn to appreciate more of the grandeur derived from those blessings. As for my career, I've done everything from owning my own business to the hospitality industry but feel I've finally found my nitch in the medical industry where I've been for 5 yrs. now.
I work mostly from home but periodically I still have to venture into the office which is in San Francisco which of course can make for a long day when commuting from Belmont, CA. Moved around a bit, traveled some, (still have to make it to Spain) but found I couldn't leave the bay area. Its still home for me.
I think whenever I've had the opportunity to run into someone from school, I've been told pretty much the same thing over and over again, "You still look the same".
Maybe it's from all the hiking, running, and tennis I used to play that helped out! At this stage, my interests consist of good wine, music, an excellent book and few steps around the dance floor. A passion I still delve into a bit.
