Benilde's Story
Benilde is from Prescott, Arizona. Benilde's schools include Prescott High School. Benilde later attended Northern Arizona University (Biology) .

One of Benilde's favorite quotes is:"A man Once told me, "this mask, i am not hiding behind it. For though it may cover my being and my face, keeping what i feel needs to be hidden from view it is in all reality and aspects quite simply..Me." Another man once told me, "i may hide behind my mask but i try to make everyone see the one behind the mask so as not to be confused." Another one said, "be careful about hiding behind the mask for you lose who is the mask and who is real." All of these men i respect and agree with to a point. But can it not also be true to say..that we (being humans that is) all in some form or aspect carry a mask with us to place on whenever we see danger ahead that we may hide behind its beautiful grace of lies. Can it not also be said that some have a mask that is in essence the "real" or "true" person? The person they hide underneath is simply another mask that is not real. The one they show may be real but because everyone has their masks and fears others shal...Expand for more
l pierce through that mask and see the pure true form of themselves they assume that all are like themselves. And Yet.. do not some have the mask because it is pleasure to watch others guess and ponder at what or why something happens through this person? i see masks on all those around me, something that is always hidden unless pried forth into the light to be seen and mocked and questioned. But there are those who hide yes but, But leave the whole world to see what is underneath if they simply look. For at that point it becomes more then just seeing it becomes feeling. Once a person i have known did that to me and saw who and what i was before even knowing anything. Then it is not simply a look anymore, it becomes a burden for those that feel they must carry it. i have seen behind so many masks that were so sure that they were in place but if you simply observe and care you realize so much more then ever before. i know more about you then you would like or hope i didn't. i simply stand in the shadows and i see. do not worry i will not bar to the world you curiosities, your oddities, your beautiful little secrets. sometimes i wish others would observe as i do. Maybe they would learn something.
