After graduating from school I attended Tuskegee Institute to play football until I got injured and went back home to New Orleans. I stayed home for about two to three years before I decided that New Orleans was not the place to be at that time, so I joined the Arms Service(US Army) in February 1984 and stayed until my retirement September 2006. the best decisions I made. I was able to visit a lot of places that I would not have been able to do being a civilian. Some of those places include (Korea 2 tours, Germany and its surrounding areas,Panama, Alaska, Egypt, Kuwait, Iraq two tours(OIF I and OIF III) and numerous places in the states (Fort Campbell, Ky. Fort Carson, Co. Fort Ord, Ca. Fort Riley, Ks. Fort Stewart, Ga.)
