Life
Graduated with a BS in Nuclear Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 1989. Used a Navy ROTC scholarship to pay for school, and went into the Navy for a four-year payback which turned into 12 years on active duty, 8 at sea onboard four ships - USS TRUETT (FF 1095), USS LEYTE GULF (CG 55), USS INGERSOLL (DD 990), and USS HOPPER (DDG 70). ley, and got laid off with everyone else once it burst. Came back on active duty at the Pentagon on the Navy staff after 9/11. Finished up my time on that call-up and got a job with John J. McMulllen Associates as a support contractor for Naval Sea Systems Command. Got called up again in April - I'm back at the Pentagon on the Chief of Naval Operations' Staff, Warfare Requirements and Programs Analysis (OPNAV N70).
