BENJAMIN JONES: A loving husband, a wonderful father and a terrific uncle (and role model for many nieces and nephews) and a beloved brother to fourteen siblings; six brothers and seven sisters. Sergeant First Class Jones is married to the former Myra Lynna Mainor of Fayetteville, NC. They have one child, Kymora Renetta. SFC Jones retired from the U.S. Army in 1999 and move to Pembroke Pines, Florida. Ben is an honorable man who has devoted himself to his family as well as his country. Ben is a hard worker, aggressive, goal-oriented and is committed to standards of excellent. The following brief bio with serve to introduce Ben to some and present him to others~~ Ben currently is employed by the Miami Postal services. He is a Supervisor of Distribution Operations, at the Miami International Service Center. The Center is one of five dedicated International and Military facilities in the U.S. Postal Service and it is the number one (ISC) facility in the nation. The facility primarily serves Latin America and the Caribbean. Ben is responsible for overseeing 86 employees in Mail Processing. Since Ben began his career at the United States Post Service he has held many positions to include Supervisor Distribution Operations, Supervisor Maintenance Operations, Supervisor Transportation Operations, as well as covered Manager Distribution Operations. One of Ben's notable accomplishments was when he supervised the Automated Flat Sorting Machine (AFSM 100) at the South Florida P&DC where he processed 302,699 pieces of mail on two machines within eight hours, setting an insurmountable record for the Nation, which still stands to this day.
